Since 1997, the Lakewood Seventh-day Adventist Community Service ministry has provided adults and children in the community with free gently used items.
We are privileged to serve many families each month and partner with several community organizations, including two local bakeries. Fresh donated bread is available to families most Thursday evenings when the center is open.
Please bring proof of family income or other documentation of emergent need.
Hours:
Tuesdays: 10:00am-12:00pm
Thursdays: 5:00-6:30pm
Please enter through grey doors to the right of the building.
Types of donations accepted:
Clothing: We accept bagged adult, children, and infant clothing. In the winter, we are especially grateful for donations of coats and winter accessories.
Hygiene items: Unopened hygiene items like soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, feminine products, diapers, and wipes
Non-perishable food: Shelf-stable essentials like peanut butter, canned proteins (tuna, chicken), beans, rice, pasta, oats, and canned fruits/veggies. Please ensure items are unopened, unexpired, and have at least a 4-week shelf life.
All donations can be placed into the outdoor donation bin.
